2010

18 April - 23 April: The 53th IAVS Symposium
Ensenada, Mexico

The symposium will be held in Ensenada, State of Baja California, México.  Ensenada is a city of 460,000 people with a busy port, located 116 km south of the international border with California. It enjoys a mediterranean-type of climate, moderated by the adjacent Pacific Ocean. Ensenada (called by many the "Cinderella of the Pacific") is a center for tourism, agriculture, wineries, mining, and commercial and sport fishing. The boundaries of the municipality are extensive. The main theme of the symposium will be "Changing Gradients in Vegetation and the Environment". Contributions on a subject related to these topics are welcome. Papers may be presented orally or as posters. The second circular will contain more details on the topics and sub-topics of the Symposium, as well as details concerning the submission of abstracts.

For more information, consult the Third Circular or alternatively visit the website at http://iavs2010.org/
