66th Annual Symposium in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal

Dear Colleagues, fellow vegetation scientists,

The annual Symposium of the IAVS 2024will be held in Funchal, Madeira island, Portugal. An important simultaneous event is the Conference of the European Vegetation Survey (EVS), an autonomous working group within the IAVS. The site of the symposium has been now launched and is available at:

All researchers and students interested in vegetation science and the  fields of biogeography and evolutionary ecology of vegetation are welcome.

The site has now all the information needed to start planning trips and registration. Please check regularly for updates.
